discover your full potential. Potential

The saying goes, "You don't become good by trying to be good; you become good by discovering the goodness that is already within you." Erikkhart Tolle

Have faith in yourself. You have plenty of resources.

You are competent. I'll reiterate that you are capable of doing whatever you want with your life even if no one else does. Life is too brief to let uncertainties hold you hostage.

I used to be so miserable and frustrated with life, and I used to mistrust my talents. To uncover the solutions to achieving success and happiness, I made an effort to immerse myself in self-help books. I kept reading book after book, but I didn't get much in return.

When my friends made fun of the novels I read, the anguish became intolerable.

But I persisted. I persisted in my search for solutions by reading books, listening to audiobooks, and attending seminars given by renowned authorities on the subject of personal development. I began to use the information I had learned, a little at a time.

Around me, things started to alter at that point. Once I began using what I had learned, I:

  • without having any technical knowledge, I started a well-known personal development blog.
  • commenced regular exercise, improved diet, and resulted in a weight loss of thirteen pounds.
  • penned an ebook to aid others in realizing their full potential.
  • completed two half marathons, and at the end of 2010 signed up for the full marathon

I felt lot better and more at peace with myself after taking action and seeing results. My skepticism gradually began to disappear. Maybe I'm truly good enough to succeed in life, I told myself.

I am competent.

Any of us only need to be aware of this. When you have confidence in yourself, your potential is already there, just waiting to be realized.

I want you to know that you can do everything you set your mind to. You don't have to endure the pain of uncertainty.

Here are five suggestions to help you overcome uncertainty, boost your self-assurance, and awaken latent potential within you:

1. Decide consciously to pursue personal development.

A potent tool you can use to advance is the decision to adapt and grow. Decide that you will begin pursuing growth. Start reading self-extension-related books and blogs, listen to audiobooks, or go to seminars with like-minded individuals.

There is no shortage of resources or mentors. There are numerous personal development blogs, publications, and podcasts. Starting with Tiny Buddha is a wise move. Visit this blog and read the articles and quotes there. You can learn a lot of lessons and advice to help you unlock your inner potential.

2. Establish a target to work for.
When you don't have a specific objective you're working toward, it's simple to feel aimless. Concentrate on the goals you have for the foreseeable future. Perhaps you want to lose weight, launch your own company, or pay off your debts. The key is to be very clear about what you want to do and when.

Ask yourself, "What would I want to accomplish if I knew I couldn't fail?" Don't make this process more time-consuming by searching for the ideal response. The only method to determine the solution is by trial and error because there is no ideal response.

Delaying action makes it more difficult to decide what you would like to do. The only way to learn is to take the first step that seems good and then make changes along the way.

3. Move cautiously.

Doubts are fought by action. You can build evidence to convince your mind that you are more capable than you realize by starting small.

Now that you have a goal in mind, start coming up with ideas for how to get there. A wise strategy is to look to those who have accomplished the goal you seek.

Find them and take notes from them. You can learn if they provide coaching services, books you can read, or a blog. Your growth process will be accelerated by having a mentor. They can aid in highlighting what you must do and steer clear of in order to follow their example.

4. Maintain a success log.

We all require confirmation that we are competent. Though you may forget it when you encounter a challenge, you are more than capable of achieving anything you set your mind to. A list of your accomplishments can serve as a helpful reminder of the reasons you shouldn't lose confidence.

Your accomplishments are compiled in a success list. Purchase a book or start your own blog. Keep track of all successes, no matter how big or small. Here are a few examples of items you could include in your success list.

  • Finished everything on your to-do list
  • Exercise three days a week.
  • Run around your neighborhood
  • and created a blog of your own
  • 10 people have subscribed to your blog.

Don't stress over how big or tiny your successes are. If it was a success, simply add it to your success list.

Go get your success list when you start to doubt yourself. Consider all the admirable things you've accomplished. Remind yourself that you have the proof to support your claim that you are capable.

Large achievements are actually just a compilation of smaller achievements. Being conscious of your accomplishments will help you feel more confident.

5. Establish your own standards.

Never consider your successes to be too modest to be proud of. If you start comparing yourself to other people, it could appear that way. There will be people out there who have finished an iron man race even if you only run a marathon. When you constantly compare yourself to other people, it creates an endless circle.

Create your own standard. If you're making improvements, be happy with yourself. Some people advance more quickly than others. That's alright. Life is a marathon, not a race.

Instead of comparing yourself to others, concentrate on what you can do to better yourself. You will continue to impress yourself if you keep developing, creating objectives, and making progress.

It makes no difference how slowly we move. It is important that we continue.
